Working the Middle School Meet at UWS, Friday, April 16th

Each year the middle school co-hosts a meet with Lakeview Christian Academy. This year it is our turn to provide workers. Please plan to be a the meet by 3:45 and to stay until 7:30. We know that this is a busy week for you, but is a good strong push at the beginning of the season. Also, you are a GREAT inspiration to the middle schoolers, much more than you know, and they will be in awe to have you running their meet. It is also a great opportunity for you to look at meet protocol from a different viewpoint.

If you have a preference as to what you want to help with, please email me ASAP. Otherwise, we will assign you to an event. The event choices are as follows:
- High Jump (caller, recorder, standard operator x2, runner)
- Long Jump (caller x2, recorder x2, tape measure operator x2, runner)
- Shot Put (caller, recorder, tape measure operator x2, runner, safety patrol)
- Hurdle Crew & General Assistance x 8

You are welcome to drive to the meet or take the Marshall bus to and from UWS. Please know that if you are riding the bus to the meet, you must ride it home as well, unless you have parent come and sign you out.

The weather is guaranteed to be PERFECT for this meet, so come join the fun!
Thanks for making Marshall Track & Field the great success that it is!!!

Tuesday's Meet at Hermantown

Greetings!

Hopefully this spring break is finding you with time to catch up on much needed rest and get a little training in each day. If you stick to your training plans, you will reap the rewards as the season progresses.

It has come to my attention that the band doesn't get in until late on Monday night. Since we have two meets next week (Tuesday @ Hermantown and Thursday @ Northwestern), we are not planning on having the band members compete, in order to keep you healthy for Thursday. The following people are on band list:

Becca, Erina, Casey, Sylvie, Aaron, Tony, Eric, Michael, Steven, Nick, Cory, Jessica, and Angela.

Please email me if you have had a change in plans and will be at practice Monday, jmacdougall@marshallschool.org.

We will post tentative event lists by the end of this week for Tuesday's meet and review them on Monday.

Happy Training!!!
Coach MacDougall
